that if 26 people each donated the price of one and a half cups of coffee per week over the course of one year, it would raise sufficient funding to provide one Full Orchestra concert for the season?!

Due to an idea put forward by a member of our audience (no doubt over the rim of a coffee cup) and, following research into how other professional orchestras do it, we have - at long last - started a 'TKFO Small Benefactors Scheme'. The astonishing fact is that if 26 people donated the price of one and a half cups of coffee each week (i.e. £20 per month), over a period of one year, this would provide the cost of mounting one concert with the Full Orchestra each season! Would you like to take an important part in enabling your own professional orchestra to survive and prosper in our area by contributing one and a half coffees per week, 3/4 of a cup (£10 a month) per week, or £5 per month for coffee without milk and sugar (or was it milk and sugar without coffee!). Why should the orchestras south of Worcester always be the ones to thrive!?

To keep the bank details of all concerned safe and secure, we suggest that you either phone the Artistic Director (Annette Jackson) on 01562 754217 or email her on or, contact our Finance Manager (Keith Sunderland) on with a view to setting up a monthly Standing Order (into the orchestra’s bank account) of £20, £10 or £5. You will, of course, always have the option to opt out or to change the amount at any time you wish.
